Invitation to join the MD-YCC

The Maryland Section of the ACS is reinstating their local section Younger Chemists Committee (YCC)! The Maryland YCC (MD-YCC) invites early-career chemists residing or studying in Maryland to join us and help shape our newly (re)launched group. The YCC advocates for and provides resources to early-career chemists, with the MD-YCC specifically working to connect younger chemists in Maryland with the ACS community at large. Opportunities for MD-YCC members include establishing a mission and vision for the committee, planning events to promote community among younger chemists, advocating for younger chemists, and curating social media content. MD-YCC members will develop skills in communication, leadership, and project management, as well as gain visibility within the Maryland chemical community and beyond.
