The Maryland ACS section would like to thank Louise Chen for a $1000 donation to our local section! Louise received her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University last year, and is now a process engineer at Lam Research in California. She received travel awards from the the local section, which supported her trip to the ACS National Fall Meeting in Denver, CO in 2024. Louise hopes to express her gratitude and pay it forward with this donation.
